FraudGuard Check Stock Verification

FraudGuard Check Stock Verification (CSV) automates the analysis of all static elements on the face of a check – ensuring that no counterfeits go unnoticed.  This dynamic system automatically interrogates all printed fields on the face of a check, including bank name and logo; check, account and routing numbers, name and address, marks, lines, font type and size, to ensure that their placement, size, and content match those found on the legitimate check stock used for each account. For example, one of the most prevalent types of check alteration occurs when thieves print an existing account number on different check stock. With FraudGuard CSV, all elements and fields of presented checks are pre-defined in the system for each account.  This enables the system to immediately identify any counterfeit checks and mark them as exceptions to be routed for review.
