SecureSeal Positive Pay
SecureSeal starts with the printing of a unique graphic on the face of the check as it is issued. Inside the graphic is information unique to that check – including the payee name, serial number and dollar amount. During check processing, images with a SecureSeal are interrogated and automatically validated (or rejected) by the system. If there are any discrepancies between the information identified within the actual check fields and the information encoded in the SecureSeal graphic, they will be marked as exceptions for review. Suspect items are available for review through the FraudGuard Decision Support application or through on-line exception reports.
